Phasmophobia, the popular co-op game from Kinetic Games, is now available for console players on PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2, and Xbox Series. Along with the console release, players can also enjoy the Crimson Eye Halloween event, which brings back the Blood Moon from last year.
During the Crimson Eye event, players will encounter increased paranormal energy in various locations, leading to the emergence of the Blood Moon weather type. To earn blood points, players must investigate these cursed locations, complete optional objectives, and photograph any Blood Altars they come across. Working together with the Ghost Hunting Community is essential to collect blood points and unlock new rewards, but be warned – ghosts are more powerful during the Blood Moon.
Kinetic Games has made significant technical changes for this event, allowing for real-time event progress tracking and the ability to make live changes on cloud servers if necessary. As a result, players will need an online connection to access any event content, including future seasonal events.
While console players can enjoy Phasmophobia’s early access now, the full version of the game is expected to be released on all platforms and Steam later this year. Stay tuned for more updates and spooky adventures in the world of Phasmophobia!
