Another update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been released, bringing more changes to the game ahead of the Season 1 launch next week. The latest patch includes a nerf to the Recon Combat Specialty Perk and the introduction of a new 10v10 Moshpit playlist.
Treyarch announced the details of the November 8 update on their website, addressing some ongoing issues that players have been experiencing since the game’s launch. One of the most exciting additions is the 10v10 playlist, which will allow for larger lobbies on many of Black Ops 6’s Multiplayer maps, including the chaotic Nuketown. In addition to the new playlist, players can still enjoy the standard Nuketown 24/7 option, as well as a new Stakeout 24/7 playlist.
The patch also includes a nerf to the Recon Perk, which has been a source of frustration for many players. The Perk’s ability to briefly reveal enemies through walls after spawning has been reduced from 1.5 seconds to just 1 second. Other changes in the patch address stability issues, XP earn rates, and glitches in Zombies mode, including a fix for a Tactical Raft exploit on Terminus.
While this update may be smaller than some previous patches, Treyarch is gearing up for a major Season 1 update next week. The team has promised more Multiplayer maps, Zombies content, and a revamped Warzone. Additionally, a mid-season refresh and Ranked Play mode are in the works for later this month.
Since its release on October 25, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has received positive reviews, with IGN giving it an 8/10 rating for both Multiplayer and Zombies modes. Players can look forward to more updates in the future, as Treyarch continues to monitor feedback and data to improve the game.
