We recently had the opportunity to build the new LEGO Fortnite sets with my nephews, and it turned out to be a fantastic way to spend the weekend. Both companies sent us the sets to review, and we were impressed by the well-thought-out designs and attention to detail. These collaborations between LEGO and Epic Games seem to keep coming, and this latest series with Fortnite is truly remarkable.

First up, we started with the LEGO Fortnite Supply Llama, a 691-piece set that was a big hit with the kids. The design was on point, and the inclusion of accessories like the Grappler, Slurp Juice, and Dynamite made the building process even more exciting. Priced at $49.99 CAD, this set is a must-have for Fortnite fans.

Next, we moved on to the LEGO Fortnite Durrr Burger, a smaller set with 193 pieces. Despite its size, my nephews had a blast putting together this colourful and quirky mascot. Complete with its signature olive toothpick and tongue sticking out, this set is not only fun but also serves as a great entry point into the Fortnite LEGO series, priced at $19.99 CAD.

The LEGO Fortnite Peely Bone proved to be the most challenging set with a whopping 1,414 pieces. Despite being labelled for ages 18 and up, it wasn’t particularly difficult to build, but it did take us some time due to the high piece count. Priced at $129.99 CAD, this set offers a more intricate building experience with moveable arms and detailed items like the Peely Pick Pickaxe and Banana Bag Back Bling.

The final product was quite impressive, but we did notice that it was a bit top-heavy, so it’s important to be cautious of accidental knocks that could cause it to tip over. The Peely Bone set reminded us of Two-Face from Batman, with its split personality design.

Lastly, we tackled the popular LEGO Fortnite Battle Bus, a 954-piece set that truly wowed us with its rolling wheels, removable roof, and iconic blue-and-yellow balloon. This set also includes eight characters and offers a fun and recognizable addition to any Fortnite collection. Priced at $129.99 CAD, the Battle Bus remains in high demand and is currently back-ordered on LEGO’s website.

Building these Fortnite sets was not only a fun group activity but also a great way to bring my nephews’ favorite Fortnite elements to life. Whether you’re a gamer or a LEGO fan, these sets would make a thoughtful holiday gift. We want to express our gratitude to LEGO and Epic Games for sending these sets our way for review.
