Meizu Unveils Note 21 and Note 21 Pro: An International Debut
In a move that showcases its commitment to AI technology, Meizu has announced the global launch of its latest smartphones, the Note 21 and Note 21 Pro. These new additions to the Meizu lineup are set to make a splash in the international market, joining the previously released Meizu 21.
The Meizu Note 21 boasts a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an 8MP front-facing camera. On the other hand, the Note 21 Pro features a slightly larger 6.78-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 13MP selfie camera. In terms of rear cameras, the Note 21 offers a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the Note 21 Pro steps it up with a 64MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth assistant.
Under the hood, the Note 21 is powered by an unspecified eight-core chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the Note 21 Pro is equipped with a Helio G99 chipset, along with the same amount of RAM and storage. Both phones support storage expansion via a microSD card slot.
Despite Meizu’s emphasis on AI technology, specific AI features are not mentioned in the official specs for either device. It is presumed that both the Note 21 and Note 21 Pro will come with Meizu’s proprietary FlymeOS software. The Note 21 takes the lead in battery capacity with a 6,000 mAh cell and 18W charging, while the Note 21 Pro comes with a slightly smaller 4,950mAh battery and 30W charging capabilities.
Color Options and Availability
The Meizu Note 21 will be available in Gulf Blue, Diamond Black, and Ivory color variants, while the Note 21 Pro will come in Bay Blue, Sandstone, and Marble options. Pricing and availability details have not been disclosed yet, but Meizu has promised to provide updates soon. Both the Note 21 and Note 21 Pro are set to launch in select markets across Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East, and CIS regions.
