Lake City Bank has opened an Innovation & Technology Center in downtown Warsaw, Indiana, bringing technology, cybersecurity and customer-support teams into one building. The bank held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday with employees and local officials.

The center is designed to support the bank’s 55 branches and 700 employees. Its teams maintain the bank’s digital services and network, manage applications and handle customer calls, making the facility part of the infrastructure behind both online banking and in-person services.

Lake City Bank announced in September 2025 that it would invest $12 million to renovate and modernize the building as part of an expansion of its Warsaw headquarters campus. The four-story property, including a lower level, was built in 1968 and purchased by the bank in 2024.

Teams under one roof

The center houses technology, cybersecurity, project management, application management and data teams, along with the bank’s One Call Center. Chief Financial Officer Lisa O’Neill said the call center is customers’ first point of contact, while technology staff work to keep employees connected to applications and protect the network.

The bank’s digital teams keep its personal and business banking app operating, while the center’s staff support the wider organization. Before the move, the teams were spread across the Warsaw campus. O’Neill said bringing them together is intended to make that work more centralized.

Space for growth and training

The building can accommodate about 100 to 130 employees, and some positions remain unfilled. O’Neill said the bank left room for teams to grow over the next five to 10 years.

The lower level includes a conference room for 25 people, a training area and a podcast room used to introduce employees to roles and leaders across the bank. Lake City Bank has also invited community groups to use the building for meetings. The bank did not specify how many employees currently work at the center.
