Ruanyun Edai gets Nasdaq notice over $1 minimum bid price
The education technology company has until April 5, 2027, to meet Nasdaq’s minimum bid price rule. The notice does not immediately affect its listing or trading.

Ruanyun Edai Technology Inc. has received a Nasdaq deficiency notice after its ordinary shares’ closing bid price stayed below $1 for 30 consecutive business days. The company said it received the written notice on October 7 and announced it on October 9, 2026.
The affected period ran from August 25 through October 6. Nasdaq said the price failure means Ruanyun Edai does not meet the minimum bid price requirement for continued listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market. The company has until April 5, 2027, to regain compliance.
What Ruanyun Edai must do
Under the Nasdaq rules cited in the notice, Ruanyun Edai has 180 calendar days to bring its closing bid price to at least $1 per share for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days. The required period must fall within the compliance window ending April 5, 2027.
Meeting that price threshold does not automatically settle the matter: Nasdaq may require the shares to maintain the minimum price for a longer period, and the company said compliance is subject to written confirmation from Nasdaq. Ruanyun Edai has not announced a plan for addressing the deficiency.
Trading remains unaffected for now
The notice has no immediate effect on the listing or trading of Ruanyun Edai’s ordinary shares on the Nasdaq Capital Market, the company said. The company’s announcement does not say what action Nasdaq might take if it fails to regain compliance by the deadline.
Ruanyun Edai describes itself as an AI-driven education technology company focused on intelligent content recognition, automated assessment and learning systems. It says its services include digital education, smart homework and examinations, and campus operations and student-life services, which it began providing in September 2025.
